The ToneCandy Overdrive is actually two different pedals in one. The toggle switch selects two very different modes. The overdrive mode gets slight early breakup with more clean headroom, to a smooth medium gain distortion. The second mode switches the pedal into a fat saturated highly overdriven Maximum Boost tone. It sounds the same at gig volume as it does in a small room at low volume without losing any bottom.
